Pocket diapers resemble a basic diaper cover with snap or Velcro closures, but have an inner pocket that you stuff with an absorbent, reusable insert.All-in-Ones.
AIOs are the closest that modern cloth diapers come to disposables. They are one-piece diapers where an inner absorbent insert is sewed between a (usually) stay-dry lining and an outer waterproof layer. No stuffing inserts here!Fitteds
Fitted diapers are usually made of cotton, bamboo, hemp or fleece and are very absorbent–but not waterproof. Fitted diapers are ready-made to “fit” you baby’s body. Fitteds come in snaps or velcro closures. A cover most be used with a fitted.Hybrids
Hybrid diapers are a cross between disposable and cloth diapers. Often, they come with a washable outer cover, and have the option of using a biodegradable disposable insert or a washable, cloth insert.
Inserts are usually rectangular, and are made of absorbent material. They do the job of soaking wetness and keep holding it. Different types of inserts varies in their absorbency and usage time.
Inserts are necessary part of cloth diapers.

Recommendation from our end is
New-borns usually need 7-8 diaper changes a day for full day diapering. For older babies, on an average, you'll need 4-5 cloth Diapers per day.
Again, the total number of diapers you need also depend upon type of diaper, your baby’s wetting pattern and your laundry schedule.

All cloth diapers we have, are good in terms of quality and comfort. You can choose as per your requirement. ABB specialz diapers are one of the hot selling and recommended product.
At a minimum, all diapers should be washed and dried at least once before use. Products with natural fibers such as cotton, hemp, and bamboo should be washed and dried separately from other products at least 3 times before use. This will remove natural oils from the fibers, allow for shrinking, and help them reach maximum absorbency. Please use a cloth diaper safe detergent and wash on hot cycle.
They can be used, washed and reused till your baby gets potty trained i.e 3yrs of age. Diapers needs a good wash care routine and a adequate number of diapers to keep maintaining their long shelf life. They can even serve your next baby for free..:)
For daytime, a diaper should be changed within 3 hours irrespective of how long it can still work. With our stay dry diapers, the baby remains quite dry easily for 3 - 4 hours. If the baby poops it is imperative that the diaper be changed immediately.
For night time, you need a high absorbency diaper like ABB Specialz AIO which can keep working for long night hours without change. You need to figure out some of the diapers which can serve you the entire night (if you do not prefer to change in midnight) by some hit and trials.
Yes, for increasing absorbency of diaper, you can add more than 1 insert at a time, if you do not mind the bulkiness.
Washing cloth diapers is really no more difficult than washing regular laundry!
After use if its pee only, rinse once with normal water and toss it into your diaper pail or any open storage. If the cloth diaper is soiled, knock down the solids, rinse it in normal water, and then put it into the diaper/open pail
When your pail is full, empty your diapers into your washing machine. Do a warm rinse cycle and then a HOT wash cycle with the FULL recommended amount of detergent. Set washer to large load and use hot water.
It is quite easy to remove most of the stains from our cloth diapers except when the baby is on medication. To minimize stains, rinse soiled diapers promptly in the toilet (using a diaper sprayer) or lay a liner inside the diaper. You can use either a Flushable Liner or a Stay Dry Liner to pick up the bowel movement and toss into your toilet.
To remove stains, sun drying is the best method.
No ,you can instead use coconut oil and use a liner as barrier .
Yes, hand wash or machine wash both is ok.
These are all additives and keep them away from your cloth diapers.
Cloth diapers never give rash. There could be many other reason to get rashes instead.
If your baby has a rash, there are a lot of methods you can use to treat the rash naturally before reaching for rash cream:
It is quite normal if the elastic marks fade away in 10-20 min. If not then check that the diaper is fit properly and should not be too tight and too loose. A loose diaper might also give friction rash.
we recommend changing the entire diaper – Pocket diaper and insert after use. This is because though the dry-feel layer in pocket is dry, it has been in contact with urine. This layer will continue to touch baby’s tender skin. For hygiene reasons therefore, we recommend changing both insert and pocket diapers.
No ,Microfiber inset should not come directly under baby skin. Microfiber is an absorbent fabric that has a tendency to wick away moisture and will do the same to baby skin.So either place any other insert over Microfiber or use Microfiber in pocket.
My cloth diapers are smelling
Stink will only build up in cloth diapers if they’re not laundered properly, or if you’re not using the right type of detergent (this can cause ammonia buildup).
Give your cleaned diaper, multiple hot washes to fix it.
